Auren Wata Shida Book 1 Complete Hausa Novel

Umma took a deep breath, looked at her husband, and said, "Call Maria. Let's hear what she has to say, and then I'll agree."

Zuwaira quickly provided the number, suggesting that perhaps Umma wanted to speak with Inna Mariya, reminding them that she had called her last year. After three minutes, Umma stood up and saluted them. They happily greeted Inna Mariya and asked if there was any problem.

Umma confirmed and then inquired about the work her mother would be doing. Inna Mariya reassured them, saying there was no problem; the son was working and seeking help for someone else. However, she advised Umma to tell Mata to maintain her dignity, despite knowing the girl’s behavior. "Calm her down, but remain calm yourself. May God make this easy," Inna Mariya added.

"Amen," Umma responded.

Inna Mariya continued, "I will come tomorrow. I will send you 15,000 naira for the sheep."

"May God reward you," Umma said, and Inna Mariya replied with, "Amen. You know how worried Iro and his father Riyanatu were about your trip, but I went to God on your behalf, and their minds were put at ease. He will not neglect your children." Tears welled up in Umma's eyes when she heard the name HAJARA, her sister's daughter, who was neither married nor alive... It was a heavy sorrow for them when she heard HAJARA's name.

Zuwaira noticed Umma wiping her tears and asked, "Why are you crying? Are we in agreement?"

Umma composed herself and said, "There's no problem, we've all agreed." She then turned to Harira, who had been quietly observing them, and asked, "Since we've agreed, when will she start?"

Harira nodded, "Yes, tomorrow I'll come and inform her about the job, her salary, and the day she should start."

"May Allah bless this," Umma said.

"Amen," Zuwaira echoed, and they all exchanged smiles before bidding farewell.

Afterward, Umma attended to Riyanatu Kira. As she quickly exited Mama Zuwaira's parlor, calling out her name, Riyanatu realized that what Umma wanted to discuss was important, so she responded quietly. The women gathered and explained everything about the work that was to begin. Riyanatu was initially scared about the future but was reassured by Umma's calm words, "Whatever you do in life, do it with sincerity. Don't blame others or jump to conclusions because most assumptions are wrong. Focus on doing good, both now and in the future. We'll find a suitable job in a few months, God willing."

Riyanatu was moved by Umma's advice, and Zuwaira added her own words of wisdom.

The next morning, Harira called Hafsat to inform her that they would be coming with the girl later. She relayed Umma's message to bid farewell. Takira Abdallah, after noticing his phone was busy for about 25 minutes, finally called back and said he was on his way to the parlor.

As he said his goodbyes to Zama, he smiled and said, "My sweet mom, see you later." His mother, however, noticed something amiss and asked, "Are you on the phone? I noticed it was busy..." He smiled, "Oh, mom, honestly, Abba was spreading the news to the family. Please, let me focus since you’ve seen me."

Abdallah grew quiet, sensing his mother's concern. She then asked, "Did you see Friday? Then, God willing, what about Monday?" Abdallah’s expression remained serious, but he agreed before intending to leave.

His mother asked, "Where’s Kuma?" He responded, "I believe he's at the office! Oh, mom, why did you stop him from entering the office yesterday? Please let him in this evening."

With a saddened expression, she said, "Is my father going to punish me?" She sighed, "Well, I think that’s enough... out of respect for Abdallah." He gently urged, "Hurry up, mom, I don't know what she's going to do."

She patted his head affectionately, "That's my son, but why don’t you share your secrets with me?" Abdallah, however, remained silent, and they continued their conversation.

At around 2:30 p.m., the person who was there stopped Riyanatu at the door of Alh Kabir's house, letting her in through the small gate. The guard opened the door, although he seemed unsure as to whether they were heading to Saba.
