How Sehrish’s Struggle Start
Sehrish is a young girl who faces immense hardship as she tries to find a way to support her sick siblings. Desperate for work, she repeatedly visits the house of Hajiya, a wealthy woman known for helping young girls find domestic jobs. The gatekeeper, initially harsh and dismissive, later sympathizes with her after learning about her situation. She explains that her siblings are hospitalized and need surgery, but she has no money for their treatment.
Hajiya returns home and is informed about the persistent girl seeking help. When she meets Sehrish, she is moved by her plea but informs her that all available jobs have been taken. Heartbroken, Sehrish insists she will do any kind of work to save her siblings. Hajiya, touched by her resilience, offers her temporary shelter and food while she looks for a solution.
Sehrish visits the hospital with Hajiya to see her siblings, Jahad and Husanna. Their condition is critical, and the doctor warns that Husanna will not survive without urgent surgery. Seeing her sister’s suffering strengthens Sehrish’s resolve—she must find a way to earn money at any cost.
Sehrish Make A Bold Decision Of Becoming “Tukur”
Hajiya later receives a call from a wealthy family looking for a male domestic worker. The job offers excellent pay and full support, including food, clothing, and education. However, they specifically want a boy. With no other option, Sehrish makes a daring decision she will disguise herself as a boy and take the job.
With the help of Hajiya’s friend, a professional makeup artist named Mareeya, Sehrish undergoes a transformation. Her long hair is cut short, her body is tightly bound to flatten her chest, and fake facial hair is applied. She adopts the name Tukur and learns to mimic male behavior. Though nervous, she convinces herself that she must succeed for the sake of her family.
Sehrish First Day As Tukur In The Soldiers’ Home
Hajiya takes Sehrish (now Tukur) to a grand mansion in Abuja, owned by a powerful military officer known as Abban Sojoji (The Father of Soldiers). The house is filled with his sons—all trained soldiers—who are known for their strict and aggressive nature.
Upon arrival, they are met by Azumi, a kind and motherly housemaid who has worked in the household for years. She takes an immediate liking to Tukur and introduces him to the rules of the house. Sehrish is overwhelmed by the sheer size of the mansion and the disciplined atmosphere. However, she reminds herself that she is here for her siblings and must not be afraid.
The security guards are highly alert, and Sehrish’s first test comes when a guard knocks her on the head, calling her a weakling for not wearing a proper cap like a soldier. Though shaken, she controls her emotions and remains in character.
Meeting the Soldiers – The Real Challenge Begins
The soldiers of the house are intimidating, particularly the eldest son, Junaid, who is a highly ranked US Army officer. He is known for his short temper and strictness. Hajiya warns Sehrish to be extra careful around him.
Tukur is assigned various household tasks and must work diligently to avoid suspicion. She interacts with the younger soldiers, Tom & Jerry, mischievous twins who constantly create chaos. Despite their mischief, they find Tukur amusing and harmless.
However, things take a dangerous turn when she encounters Junaid. He immediately dislikes Tukur, suspecting something odd about him. One evening, Junaid loses his temper over a minor mistake and throws a dining table in rage, scaring everyone. Sehrish realizes she must be extremely careful around him, as he is not the type to tolerate deception.
Sehrish Adapting to the Soldier’s World
Despite the challenges, Sehrish slowly earns the trust of some of the soldiers through her hard work and humility. She learns their strict routines, military discipline, and expectations. She is forced to adapt to their lifestyle, including waking up at dawn, exercising, and following rigid rules.
Azumi continues to guide her, advising her on how to avoid trouble. She also secretly helps Sehrish keep track of her siblings’ condition, reminding her of the urgency of her mission.
Sehrish Getting More Suspicion
Several incidents nearly expose Sehrish’s true identity. One night, after a long day of work, she forgets to tighten her chest binding, and a soldier almost notices. Another time, she absentmindedly adjusts her scarf in a feminine manner, drawing suspicious glances.
Junaid remains highly observant and continues to test her, often giving her orders that would typically be difficult for a woman to execute. He begins to suspect something is off about Tukur but cannot pinpoint what it is.
Sehrish Getting Recognition For Hardworking
Despite his harsh exterior, Junaid starts to notice Tukur’s hardworking nature. During a security threat at the mansion, Sehrish reacts quickly and bravely, impressing some of the soldiers. Junaid, though still suspicious, begins to tolerate Tukur’s presence in the house.
One day, Sehrish overhears a private conversation between Junaid and another soldier, revealing dark secrets about their past. She realizes Junaid has experienced severe trauma, which explains his cold and aggressive nature.
The Breaking Point
Just when Sehrish starts to feel slightly safe, disaster strikes. One of the soldiers, during a routine sparring session, forcefully grabs her by the collar, pulling her close. The tension in the air is thick—has she been discovered?
Will Sehrish’s secret be exposed? What will happen if the soldiers find out a woman has been living among them, deceiving them all alone
